A Master's-level psychologist who reverse-engineers why people pay attention, and turns it into social media strategy that sells.
I have a master's in psychology and a bachelor's in social psychology, and I take part in replication research. A replication is when a study that's already been published gets run a second time, with new people, to see whether the result comes out the same. For my thesis I ran a replication and designed an extension to it, a donation condition added to the original study, and I built the surveys for it in SoSci Survey.
Before I gave anyone advice about social media, I spent a long stretch studying how people behave on it. The first year I didn't post anything at all, and it was almost two years before I told anyone how to do it.
DataPsych Strategies is what came out of that. I read the research that content advice is supposed to come from, I check what the studies actually found, and I turn the parts that hold up into strategy, tools and scripts for your account. I've done web development and a bit of programming, and I make content myself, so I can design a strategy and build the system that runs it.
I treat your account the way I'd treat a study. We start with a hypothesis, test it on real posts, read the numbers, and then do more of whatever worked.
"The universe speaks a language we have yet to learn, but through deeper connection, we can begin to unlock it.", from my essay, Unlocking the Universe Within
If you've been posting and guessing at what works, I built this for you, and the free playbook is the place to start.
